Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrical Quality Assurance (QA) Technician for inspecting, testing, and verifying that electrical switchboards, panels, and associated components meet design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements before they are shipped to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- In-Process Inspection: Perform inspections during the assembly of the switchboard, verifying proper installation of components, wiring, and adherence to electrical schematics.
- Final Inspection and Testing (FAT): Conduct final, detailed visual inspections, functional tests (e.g., operational checks of breakers, lights, and meters), and dielectric strength (high-pot, Mega, PI, SI, Injection Test) testing to ensure the switchboard is ready for service.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create, maintain, and update inspection reports, quality records, and non-conformity reports.
- Collaboration: Liaise with production, engineering, and sales teams to resolve quality issues and support project timelines.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, CAD drawings, and schematics.
- Tools: Proficient in using hand tools, precision measuring tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills for troubleshooting, and effective communication.
