Our Client: Our client is a well-established construction company, headquartered in Japan. They are currently looking for a Project Manager (Electrical) tojoin their teamin Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
- To lead a construction team
- Work closely with client, consultant, main contractor on technical matters.
- Provide guidance to engineers, supervisors in relation to site works and must be able to lead a team.
- Supervise and coordinate electrical work and work closely with other department staff to meet project timelines.
- Manage the submission of materials, samples and work progress.
- Manage the submission of method statements and work progress.
- Ensure quality of work is achieved and safety regulations are compiled with job requirement.
- Manage the submission of the shop drawings and work progress.
- Coordinate/discuss with supplier to prepare the manufacture drawings.
- Check the manufacture drawings whether it is compiled as discussed with supplier.
- Check the manufacture drawings whether it is compiled with the contract (specification) and the comments given by the client, consultant and owner.
- Attend meetings and discussions with client and main contractor.
- Be the point of contact for giving and receiving instructions, documents, etc. to and from client and customers.
The Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 15 to 25 years of relevant working experience.
- Preferably with managerial experience managing a department before.
- Experience in managing construction work regarding Electrical System inclusive of BMS (Building Management System) and Power supply to Mechanical Load.
- Experience in executing work on large project (Contract amount more than SGD 10 million) with 100 to 200 workers at peak period daily.
- Must be willing to work in Tuas area. Company transport from MRT station will be provided.
- Able to handle stress from main contractor.
