Lead and manage electrical installation projects from commencement through testing, commissioning and final handover.
Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower, materials and resources to ensure works are completed according to project requirements and timelines.
Coordinate closely with main contractors, consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
Attend project, technical and site coordination meetings and follow up on required actions.
Review electrical drawings, specifications, shop drawings and project requirements to ensure proper execution of works.
Manage and supervise Project Engineers, site supervisors, workers and subcontractors under the assigned projects.
Monitor site progress and proactively resolve technical, coordination and operational issues.
Ensure electrical works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements and applicable safety standards.
Monitor project costs, material usage and subcontractor works to maintain effective cost control.
Coordinate and support progress claims, Variation Orders (VO), subcontractor claims and other project documentation.
Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, testing records, as-built drawings and other required documentation.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections and rectification works with relevant parties.
Ensure project milestones and handover deadlines are achieved.
Maintain good working relationships with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
Provide regular progress updates and reports to Management.
Perform other project-related duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in electrical installation and project management.
Proven experience managing electrical projects in Singapore's construction industry.
Good knowledge of electrical installation works, drawings, specifications and local project requirements.
Strong project planning, coordination, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Able to lead site teams and subcontractors independently.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple project priorities and deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office knowledge of AutoCAD and/or relevant project software will be an advantage.
