About the Role

We are seeking a driven Electrical Project Engineer / Electrical Project Manager / E&M Project Manager to lead and deliver high-value power infrastructure projects, including Transmission & Distribution (T&D) OR LTA E&M rail projects.

This role offers strong exposure to high-voltage systems, substations, and large-scale infrastructure works, ideal for candidates looking to grow into a senior project leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical power projects from planning to commissioning

• Oversee HV/MV systems, including substations, switchgear, and power distribution networks

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities (e.g. LTA, utilities)

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards

• Review and validate engineering designs, technical submissions, and drawings

• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and procurement activities

• Handle site coordination, installation, testing & commissioning works

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (IEC, local codes)

• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Experience in power infrastructure, T&D, or LTA E&M projects

• Hands-on exposure to:

  • High Voltage / Medium Voltage systems

  • Substations / power distribution

• Proven experience in project execution or coordination

• Familiar with local authority requirements (e.g. LTA / SP Group) is an advantage

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Able to work on-site and manage multiple project activities

Preferred Profile

• Candidates from EPC contractors, power utilities, or rail infrastructure projects

• Experience in substation, grid, or traction power systems

• Ready to step up into a Project Manager role (for senior candidates)
