Job Summary
Execute and manage electrical engineering projects independently from start to finish, ensuring compliance with specifications, timely delivery, and effective stakeholder communication in commercial, residential, and governmental sectors.
Responsibilities
- Report budgeting, schedules, materials, and resource status directly to the Project Manager to support project tracking and decision-making
- Independently execute projects from initiation to completion with minimal supervision, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and verify all tender submissions meet project specifications and compliance requirements
- Oversee daily site operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely progress
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, main and sub-contractors to secure resources and meet project deadlines
- Liaise with clients to manage expectations and provide regular updates on project status
- Assess and ensure sufficient allocation of resources and manpower for project demands
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships to foster trust and repeat business
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and company objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in commercial, residential, or governmental projects
- Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet critical deadlines
- Highly organized with effective time management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite for project documentation and reporting
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity (SDCP)
- Class 3/3A driving license
