Job Summary
Lead and coordinate electrical engineering projects by managing resources, supervising site progress, and ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit comprehensive project documentation including Risk Assessments, requisitions, work schedules, drawings, and reports to support project execution
- Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and resources to meet project specifications and timelines
- Monitor project costs and resource utilization to ensure adherence to approved budgets
- Identify and allocate required skills and manpower for effective site deployment
- Supervise and monitor site progress to ensure smooth execution and timely project completion
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications, quality requirements, and QESH standards
- Coordinate project activities and communications with main contractors, subcontractors, building owners, consultants, and other stakeholders
- Attend site meetings and follow up on project-related issues to maintain project momentum
- Manage and supervise subcontractors, workers, and technicians to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Maintain accurate filing and documentation for all project activities and records
- Assist in tender preparation and conduct site surveys as required to support project acquisition
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Company to support project and operational needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical projects, construction, or building services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Good understanding of site operations and project coordination
- Experience managing subcontractors, workers, and/or technicians
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD
- Possession of a Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence (advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate stakeholder engagement
- Strong planning, coordination, and organisational skills to manage multiple project requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
