Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

1. Job Description / Responsibilities

. Perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and instrumentation equipment.

. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical panels, motors, PLC systems, sensors, and field instruments.

. Read and interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, P&ID diagrams, and wiring schematics.

. Perform cable termination, wiring, testing, and commissioning of electrical & instrumentation equipment.

. Conduct calibration of sensors, transmitters, flowmeters, pressure gauges, and temperature instruments.

. Support E&I project works, including site installation, testing, and documentation.

. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, LOTO, and permit-to-work systems.

. Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.

. Assist in preparing maintenance reports, checklists, and technical documentation.

2. Requirements

Education:

. Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Communication Engineering

Experience:

. At least 0-2 years experience in electrical maintenance OR instrumentation work

. Experience in industrial environment, M&E, construction, or electrical is acceptable

. Hands-on skills in troubleshooting & calibration of electrical & instrumentation systems

Technical Skills to list:

. Knowledge of PLC systems

. Instrumentation calibration tools

. Electrical troubleshooting

. Reading electrical drawings

. Basic computer skills

Other Requirements:

. Able to work independently with minimal supervision

. Knowledge of workplace safety (LOTO / PTW) is an advantage

. Physically fit to work on industrial or construction site
