Job Description
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plant electrical and instrumentation equipment to maximize availability and reduce production disruptions.
- Carry out maintenance work safely, following all Safety Procedures, SOPs, GMP, and Good Engineering Practices.
- Support implementation of minor plant modifications and capital projects within defined specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Take ownership of the quality of maintenance work to ensure there is no negative impact on product quality.
Operational Support
- Provide timely technical advice and troubleshooting support to Operations and other teams.
- Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work and ensure accurate maintenance records.
Continuous Improvement
- Initiate and support improvement activities aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, reducing downtime, lowering maintenance costs, and improving work efficiency.
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain high safety standards, prevent spillages/incidents, and uphold housekeeping requirements.
- Comply with all audit, GMP, and safety expectations.
Requirements
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Professional Requirements
- Diploma in Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- LEW certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of industrial standards and relevant maintenance procedures.
- Good knowledge of production and utility equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with GMP guidelines and Standard Engineering Practices.
- Experience working with CMMS is preferred.
