- In-charge of the products electrical systems, including control panels, wiring diagrams, and power distribution systems.
- Oversee the electrical installation and commissioning of equipment and machinery, ensuring that all systems are correctly set up and fully operational.
- Ensure that all electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements, including health and safety guidelines, electrical codes, and industry best practices.
- Determine the priority and scheduling of maintenance tasks and corrective actions for electrical systems to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure that QEHS standards are consistently upheld within the area of responsibility.
2) Authorities
- The Electrical Engineer holds the authority to make technical decisions related to electrical systems.
- The Electrical Engineer authorizes the selection of electrical components, materials, and tools required for projects, ensuring they meet performance standards and project requirements.
3) Organization Relationships
- Reports to Asst General Manager and Senior Management to ensure that electrical components and installations are completed on time, within budget, and according to customer specifications.
- Collaborates closely with the design and fabrication teams to ensure that electrical designs are integrated into the overall equipment design and meet operational requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Related license / certifications in electrical systems
- Knowledge of electrical circuit design, power distribution, motor control, and control systems is required
- Engineer: 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering
- Technician: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
