Electrical Engineer, Singapore
Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive electrical solutions and select appropriate electrical components to meet project requirements
- Develop and debug PLC programs to ensure reliable automation control systems
- Design and debug Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications for effective system operation
- Assemble and debug electromechanical systems to achieve optimal performance
- Perform network communication debugging to maintain system connectivity and data integrity
- Create detailed electrical control cabinet drawings for manufacturing and installation
- Oversee system installation and commissioning to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Prepare technical documents and related drawings to support project execution and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with electrical system suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure component compatibility
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Control, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design
- Proficiency in using electrical design tools
- Proficient in PLC programming and hardware with independent development and design capabilities
- Strong knowledge of servo control, stepper motor control, and familiarity with robotic motion control
- Ability to select and apply motors, sensors, and other automation components
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel internationally for training
