Job Responsibilities
- Design, review, and coordinate electrical systems for construction projects.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical submissions.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on materials, equipment, and installation requirements.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and site activities to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, inspection records, and project documentation.
- Support the Project Manager in project planning, coordination, and delivery.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering within construction, M&E, or building projects.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and technical drawings.
- Experience in site coordination, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with Singapore electrical standards and safety requirements is an advantage.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office BIM/Revit knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced project environment.
