Electrical Engineer (LTA Projects)

Overview

Our client, a well-established MNC in engineering and building services, is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer(s) to support the delivery of large-scale LTA infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for electrical engineering design, engineering calculations, electrical wiring systems, installation coordination, QA/QC documentation, and project execution support. You will also work closely with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors to resolve technical issues, support construction activities, and ensure smooth delivery throughout various stages of the project lifecycle.

Salary: $4,000 - $4,500 + VB + Allowances

Working hours: MON - FRI Office Hours

Location: West Singapore (Commonwealth) / SITE

Key responsibilities:

• Support electrical wiring installation, cable pulling & routing, cable containment installation, and power distribution system works during project execution
• Coordinate switchboard, MSB / DB, electrical panel, busduct, lighting & power system, transformer, and UPS system installation activities
• Assist in electrical wiring installation, testing & commissioning, cable routing, and switchboard / MSB / DB coordination for LTA infrastructure projects
• Perform electrical engineering duties including design, engineering calculations, planning, and tender preparation/evaluation as part of the project team
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation and engineering deliverables
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, consultants, architects, and contractors on technical and project matters
• Support electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities during project execution
• Assist in resolving technical issues encountered during project design and construction stages
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in LTA or infrastructure projects would be preferred
• Candidates with hands-on experience in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning will have an added advantage
• Familiarity with electrical engineering design, engineering calculations, and project coordination
• Knowledge of current industry standards, safety regulations, and technical requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within project timelines
