Overview
Our client, a Singapore-based engineering and construction company, is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support construction projects across Singapore and Japan.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, review, and engineer electrical systems for construction projects across Singapore and Japan
- Prepare, update, and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD (ACAD)
- Coordinate technical matters with Japanese and overseas clients to ensure project requirements are met
- Ensure compliance with electrical design standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle
Job Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, design practices, and safety standards
- Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese for internal/external communications.
- Willingness to work on projects in both Singapore and Japan (approximately 50:50)
Advantageous Skills:
- Experience in construction or engineering projects
- Ability to communicate in Chinese (basic understanding is sufficient)
- Prior experience working in a multicultural or international environment
