System Modeling & Analysis: Team up with equipment vendors and EPC partners to design MV/HV systems (switchgear, transformers, protection relays, and SCADA) for offshore substations.
Technical Documentation: Draft, review, and refine critical engineering deliverables, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), protection coordination layouts, and comprehensive cable routing schedules.
Testing & Commissioning: Oversee Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) and provide technical support during offshore commissioning phases to validate regulatory compliance.
Asset Integrity & Maintenance: Formulate proactive, preventive maintenance strategies aimed at maximizing equipment lifespan and optimizing system uptime.
Technical Leadership: Troubleshoot complex electrical faults, offer field-level solutions, and provide technical mentorship to early-career engineering staff.
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.Eng / B.Sc) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in medium or high voltage power engineering, with an emphasis on offshore or marine installations.
Software Skills: Proven proficiency in utilizing specialized electrical design and simulation software.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of MV/HV engineering fundamentals, maritime safety regulations, and offshore operational constraints.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and adaptive capabilities to successfully navigate demanding, fast-paced offshore project environments.
