Job Description
Responsible for the design, development, instrumentation, maintenance, testing, and improvement of electrical systems for plants, machinery, instruments, and related products.
Key Responsibilities
Duties
- Design, develop, test, and improve electrical devices, systems, and components.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical engineering issues, including maintenance, instrumentation, and calibration.
- Troubleshoot and rectify technical problems related to electrical systems and components.
- Oversee the manufacturing, installation, and implementation of electrical products and systems.
- Liaise with authorities, consultants, and contractors on all electrical matters.
- Evaluate and ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical systems and components.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation in compliance with Singapore standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise contractors and ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Electrical, Electronic, and Power Engineering
- PLC Programming and Data Logging Systems
- IoT Sensors, Data Collection, and Cloud Database Integration
- CAD software, preferably EPLAN
- Project Management
- Good knowledge of Singapore Standards, including electrical installation and workplace safety

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant working experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience preferred
- Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is highly preferred
