Electrical Engineer

Our client is a well known MNC situated at Jurong Island . Due to expansion of facilities , they are seeking An Electrical Engineer to support t for the Operational readiness of the new plant (including walkdowns & punch listing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities, preparing SOPs & routine schedules . The plant will be in operations in 2025 and thereafter , the role will carryout routine maintenance activities .
Responsibilities

• Ensure Electrical equipment are well maintained.
• Ensure proper and efficient troubleshooting of electrical issues.
• Carry out reliability management program to assure reliability of the electrical equipment and installation viz., HT/LT electric motors, transformers, switch gears, generators etc.
• Maintain plant electrical distribution network (22KV/11KV) and substations.
• Plan/Schedule/Execute day to day maintenance, shutdown and turnaround jobs.
• Responsible for completion of the planned PM jobs as per the PM schedule.
• Troubleshoot reliability problems and provide reports on preventive/ corrective actions.
• Conduct failure analysis, analyse reliability data & develop improvement plan

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in similar industry
• Some working experience in 11/ 22 KV electrical system.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment standards/specifications especially with local codes and industry practices.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment under tight schedule.
• Holding a Class 3 Driving licence will be an added advantage
