Electrical Engineer (Facilities/ Maintenance/ Operations)

Job Summary:
- To support commercial and industrial facilities.
- Ensure reliable electrical operations, lead maintenance activities, support projects, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance for building M&E systems.
- This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function.
- Responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain MV/LV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, MSBs/SMDBs, generators, UPS, and MCCs.
- Perform troubleshooting, testing, inspections, and preventive/corrective maintenance via CMMS.
- Maintain electrical components of building systems: lighting, HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, fire protection systems, lifts/escalators, etc.
- Support electrical needs for industrial machinery, plant equipment, and process loads.
- Execute Permit to Work, LOTO, safety procedures, and ensure compliance with EMA, SCDF, WSH regulations.
- Respond to electrical faults and support emergency recovery.
- Assist with retrofit works, system upgrades, shutdowns, testing & commissioning.
- Maintain documentation: SLDs, reports, test records, asset data.
- Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and building operations teams.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in aviation, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, or mission critical environments
- Adept in MV/LV systems, troubleshooting, and building M&E equipment.
- Familiar with CMMS, BMS/SCADA, and electrical safety procedures.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
