The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design of the electrical system and electrical system inspection. He/She manages a team of technical supervisors and manages the project timeline.
He/She works indoors, outdoors and occasionally, in cramped spaces with irregular hours based on project demands, escalations and schedules. Testing installations and systems, and analysing data. Making sure projects meet electrical and construction safety regulations, guidelines and time constraints.
A knowledge in estimating material, construction, and labour costs, and project timescales is a must.
He/She should have a pleasant disposition and able to communicate effectively with everyone under pressure.
