Job Summary:
What you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for the design and technical solution review and evaluation of electrical systems for new construction and renovation of data centers. Based on business requirements and combined with the architecture and technical characteristics of various systems (such as medium and low voltage systems, UPS systems, generator systems, etc.), provide architecture and solution designs, and guide the design institutes in the detailed construction design process.
- Oversee the entire process of on-site bidding and tendering management for electrical systems, and manage design requirements both externally (with collaborative design institutes, power facility suppliers, etc.) and internally (with other departments within the company). Review and ensure the quality of construction drawings and specialized technical solutions provided by vendors.
- Develop practical design standards, technical specifications, and workflows for electrical systems based on different project requirements and realistic conditions, and ensure their implementation. Responsible for the standardization, technical innovation, and iterations of electrical design.
- Assist in the acceptance of various engineering phases and equipment related to electrical systems during projects. Cooperate in key equipment factory tests, installation, and final acceptance. Support testing and verification processes and provide technical assistance or guidance as needed.
- Ensure the implementation of design deliverables, providing full-process support during project execution, and be competent in managing on-site construction for the projects.
- Exhibit innovative thinking in project design and effectively resolve complex technical challenges encountered during the design process.
How you will stand out:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Communications, Automation, or related fields.
- Minimum of 8 years of work experience, including at least 5 years in the data center industry possesses strong professional skills, capable of independently coordinating cross-disciplinary efforts for data center design able to undertake the project design and management of medium and large-scale data centers.
- Familiar with products and equipment involved in data center infrastructure integration, as well as various communication protocols well-versed in domestic and international standards and guidelines related to data centers. Proficient in CAD, OFFICE, and other software. Possesses extensive experience in technical review and management capable of independently conducting design, verification, and drawing reviews while solving technical issues during the design process. Demonstrates strong expertise in technical coordination, quality control, and the ability to establish relevant standards and specifications.
- Able to adapt to international travel possesses excellent communication and presentation skills. Highly responsible at work candidates with overseas work experience, intermediate-level or higher professional titles, or relevant professional certifications are preferred.
