Electrical Engineer (Design cum Site)

Job Summary

We are seeking an adaptable Electrical Engineer (Design cum Site) to bridge control system design and physical site/factory implementation. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical schematics for industrial automation systems, specifying components, and supporting hardware execution and troubleshooting on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Control Design: Develop and refine electrical control system designs tailored for factory automation lines and semiconductor processing equipment.

Schematics & Technical Drafting: Generate comprehensive electrical schematics, wiring layouts, control panel configurations, and cable routing diagrams using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical.

Component Selection & BOM Creation: Select appropriate electrical components (including PLCs, sensors, relays, switches, and power units) and generate precise Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and assembly.

Site & Execution Support: Assist with hardware assembly, wiring checks, and system integration testing on-site to ensure electrical designs perform as intended during deployment.

Requirements

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.

Experience: Hands-on background in electrical design specifically for manufacturing machinery or industrial automation projects.

Technical Software Proficiency: Proficient in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Electrical for drafting and design.

Domain Expertise:

Solid understanding of PLC control architectures, panel wiring standards, and industrial automation principles.

Practical knowledge of electrical component sizing and power distribution within automated equipment.
