Job Description

About the Role

As a CBRE Electrical Engineer to support commercial and industrial facilities. You will ensure reliable electrical operations, lead maintenance activities, support projects, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance for building M&E systems.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.


What You'll Do:

  • Operate and maintain MV/LV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, MSBs/SMDBs, generators, UPS, and MCCs.
  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, inspections, and preventive/corrective maintenance via CMMS.
  • Maintain electrical components of building systems: lighting, HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, fire protection systems, lifts/escalators, etc.
  • Support electrical needs for industrial machinery, plant equipment, and process loads.
  • Execute Permit to Work, LOTO, safety procedures, and ensure compliance with EMA, SCDF, WSH regulations.
  • Respond to electrical faults and support emergency recovery.
  • Assist with retrofit works, system upgrades, shutdowns, testing & commissioning.
  • Maintain documentation: SLDs, reports, test records, asset data.
  • Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and building operations teams.

What You'll Need:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in aviation, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, or mission critical environments is an advantage.
  • Strong technical skills in MV/LV systems, troubleshooting, and building M&E equipment.
  • Familiar with CMMS, BMS/SCADA, and electrical safety procedures.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
