Job Description

  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and specification
  • Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop, short circuit, and protection coordination
  • Prepare design submissions, technical data sheets, and material submittals for client/consultant approval
  • Support BIM coordination for electrical models and clash detection
  • Plan and supervise installation of MV/LV switchboards, transformers, generators, lighting, power, fire alarm, and cabling works
  • Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, and other trades for site interfaces and installations
  • Witness and conduct testing & commissioning: IR test, polarity, continuity, relay testing, load test
  • Ensure all works comply with approved method statements, drawings, and project schedule
  • Ensure compliance with EMA LEW requirements, WSH Act, and BCA regulations
  • Liaise with Client, Consultant, LEW, Subcontractors, and Suppliers on technical matters
  • Monitor project budget, manpower, and material requirements. Control cost and progress
  • Support procurement by evaluating vendor quotations and technical specs
