Job Description:
BD / Tender Support
- Review technical specifications in tender documents.
- Evaluate electrical system compliance with local codes.
- Identify technical gaps and non-compliance risks.
Design & Project Stage
- Review shop drawings and engineering calculations.
- Verify compliance of electrical systems with relevant codes and client requirements.
- Review and approve parts listings for electrical components.
- Support the Project Team on technical issues.
- Attend meetings with consultants and main contractors where required.
QAQC & Reliability
- Monitor the reliability of electrical components.
- Perform 20-80 fault analysis on electrical failures.
- Conduct data analytics on lift fault data.
- Carry out root cause investigations, including control faults and door faults.
- Conduct QC acceptance checks and supplier quality assessments.
- Assist in supplier audits.
Commissioning & Operations
- Support testing and commissioning (T&C) checks prior to lift operation.
- Assist in troubleshooting major electrical faults.
- Support the LEW in commissioning and inspections.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the lift industry.
- Experience in lift electrical systems, troubleshooting and quality assurance will be advantageous.
Specific Skills/Knowledge
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical and control systems for lift projects and maintenance.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards and compliance requirements.
- LEW licence is preferred.
