Job Summary
Fourway Engineering Pte Ltd is an ISO certified company specializing in the design and manufacturing of Electrical Switchboards, Smart Panels, ACMV-Panels, LCP, and customized empty metal enclosures. We are seeking an experienced Junior Drafter to contribute to our engineering team by producing precise CAD drawings and supporting design documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design or redesign electrical layouts and drawings based on written or verbal specifications from supervisor to meet project requirements.
- Produce detailed CAD drawings and engineering designs adhering to industry, departmental, and discipline standards to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reference information necessary for comprehensive drawing development.
- Revise and update CAD drawings promptly to reflect design changes and maintain current documentation.
- Compile and organize design documents for submission to clients or consultants to facilitate feedback and approval processes.
- Maintain thorough records of the design process in compliance with sound design practices and ISO certification requirements.
- Ensure all designs comply with required safety standards and technical specifications to uphold quality and regulatory adherence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives and project delivery.
Requirements:
- Proficient in using 2D AutoCAD software to produce and revise engineering drawings.
- Skilled in applying electrical engineering knowledge to interpret and create electrical symbols, circuit diagrams, power distribution layouts, control circuits, and wiring standards.
- Experience in drafting for Electrical Switchboards and Control Panels to support manufacturing and design accuracy.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or ITE holder in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and presentation purposes.
