Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

• Assist for the project's electrical system specifications, design submission, shop drawings, and details.
• Assist in reviewing the project's requirements to develop design calculations for the electrical and/or power supply systems.
• Work with relevant departments to develop effective designs and solutions.
• Ensure that all installations, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment conform to standards, safety, timelines, and budgets.
• Report any abnormalities in electrical or power systems that will impact the project and conduct investigations immediately.
• Assist in paperwork submission.
• Ensure timely and smooth progress of works
• Perform QA/QC role on area assigned and ensure safety regulations are being complied on site
• Prepare progress report and project handover report
• Execute other assigned tasks as delegated by supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum degree in engineering or equivalent, and above.
• Preferably with at least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the construction industry or working with LTA projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage project timelines and budgets.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor the team.
• Familiar with construction worksite safety practices.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work with various stakeholders.
