What You'll Do
- Design and develop electrical systems for industrial automation and control applications, from concept through to commissioning
- Create and review electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using industry-standard design tools
- Integrate automation components including sensors, actuators, PLCs, and field devices into cohesive system solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and project delivery
- Conduct site visits for installation support, system testing, and commissioning activities — locally and internationally
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with applicable international standards and client specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across electrical and control systems throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and test records
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency, quality, and safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience in electrical design for industrial automation and/or control systems
- Strong foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles, control panel design, and system integration
- Hands-on familiarity with industrial automation components — sensors, actuators, PLC systems, and field devices
- Proficiency in electrical design software, particularly EPLAN (preferred) and/or AutoCAD
- Sound understanding of international electrical standards including IEC/EN, NFPA/NEC, and UL
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients
- Willingness to travel internationally and locally as project requirements demand
