Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Electrical control and Automation Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, programming, and commissioning of Motor control Pannels including VFDs, PLC, Control equipment for industrial automation projects across various sectors such as Wastewater treatment, Food and beverage, and material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selection, Sizing, Design, and configuration of control equipment for motor control.
  • Create layout, customer approval, & fabrication drawings and schematics for electrical panels using Autodesk Autocad software.
  • Perform system integration, including hardware setup, network configuration, and interfacing with field devices (sensors, VFDs, encoders, etc.).
  • Conduct on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including electrical schematics, I/O lists, and control logic diagrams.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Customers, Sales engineers, and vendors to ensure technical specifications and requirements are met and optimized.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or trade-based equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Electrical and control system design.
  • Experience in PLC, SCADA/HMI configuration, graphics development, and scripting.
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
  • Able to read and interpret electrical specifications and standards.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Willing to travel regionally for site work and commissioning.

Preferrred Experiences:

  • Experience in system architecture design for automation projects.
  • Familiarity with safety PLCs, motion control systems, and robotic integration.
  • Knowledge of VFD and motor control systems
  • Experience in process automation (e.g., batching, mixing, packaging, conveyors)
