We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join the Maintenance team of a leading manufacturer. As part of their continued expansion, this role is positioned to support strategic growth initiatives in Malaysia and ensure plant reliability, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and equipment; design and read power/control circuit diagrams; maintain LV/HV switchgears, transformers, and gensets.
- Plan, schedule, and execute plant maintenance; supervise craftsmen; oversee instrumentation calibration, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Work with PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation protocols; generate plant control philosophy and logic diagrams; support commissioning and handover documentation.
- Design and specify E&I engineering for new projects; prepare technical documentation; ensure compliance with safety, quality, and international standards.
- Adhere to process safety and personal safety requirements; ensure compliance with company policies, codes, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Polymer, Petroleum, or related) with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 and above.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, instrumentation systems, SAP, AutoCAD, and troubleshooting methods.
- Hands‑on experience with polymer/petrochemical synthesis plants or rotating/static equipment is an advantage.
- Excellent command of English & Malay, with strong leadership, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
