Job Summary

The EE Engineer, Electrical & Electronics (Electronics) develops proprietary automation solutions by preparing electrical layouts, assisting in assembly and wiring, supporting system testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed electrical layouts and schematic drawings for automation systems and sub-assemblies to ensure accurate design documentation
  • Assemble and wire electrical and electronic components for automation projects to support system integration
  • Develop complete Bill of Materials for electrical systems to facilitate procurement and project planning
  • Collaborate with Production Engineers and vendors during system assembly, wiring, and testing to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Train and supervise electrical technicians and contractors in proper wiring practices to maintain safety and standards
  • Support system testing and qualification to verify functionality and performance of automation solutions
  • Contribute to product cost reduction initiatives by identifying efficiency improvements in electrical design and assembly
  • Maintain up-to-date electrical drawings to reflect design changes and support ongoing projects
  • Plan and manage projects to meet deadlines and coordinate resources effectively
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support team objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in PLC programming and Servo Tuning to enhance automation control capabilities
  • Hands-on experience assembling control panels, motor, and driver assemblies to support system hardware integration
  • Familiarity with machine control hardware including power supplies, motors, sensors, motion, and I/O devices to troubleshoot and optimize systems
  • Proven troubleshooting skills for electrical systems to resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to electrical engineering challenges
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across functions and drive project success
