Overview
We are seeking an Elastic Observability Engineer to design, implement, and support observability solutions using the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, Elastic APM). You will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and visibility across applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Elastic Stack for logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and visualizations in Kibana.
- Develop and manage log pipelines using Logstash, Beats, or Elastic Agent.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance Elastic Stack components in production environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to establish and promote observability best practices.
Requirements
- 4 years of working experience with Linux Operation Systems and Elastic Stack.
- Strong knowledge of observability concepts including logs, metrics, traces, and APM.
- Experience with Elasticsearch cluster management, optimization, and tuning.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
