The EHS Trainer is responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering effective Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) training programmes to ensure all worksite personnel are competent, compliant, and aligned with statutory and client-specific safety requirements. The role focuses on competency verification, training effectiveness, and continuous improvement in safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive EHS Training Matrix for all worksite personnel, ensuring alignment with regulatory, company, and client requirements.
- Plan, implement, and conduct EHS training programmes, including both classroom and practical sessions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training and assess the competency of workers through observations, assessments, and written tests.
- Conduct Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments for critical and high-risk trades, including lifting operations.
- Implement training programmes tailored to client-specific EHS requirements, ensuring workers fully understand site safety procedures and standards.
- Administer and review written assessments and practical evaluations to measure learning outcomes and identify training gaps.
- Maintain accurate training records, VOC documentation, and competency assessment reports.
- Work closely with project teams, safety personnel, and management to support continuous improvement in workplace safety and compliance.

- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO)
