- Focuses on leading site-wide environment, health, safety, and sustainability strategies.
- Ensuring strict API manufacturing compliance, managing risk assessments (HAZOP, PHA, JSA), and handling statutory audits with local authorities like MOM, NEA, and SCDF.
- Regulatory & Statutory Compliance: Direct compliance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act(WSHA), Environmental Protection and Management Act (EPMA), and SCDF regulations.
- Risk Management: Lead and implement comprehensive risk identification, gap analyses
- Audits & Inspections: Organize and manage EHS and sustainability audits from customers, certification bodies, and government agencies.
- EHS Systems & Training: Develop and maintain management systems in compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001,alongside delivering safety training programs.
- Emergency & Incident Response: Develop emergency preparedness plans, conduct incident investigations (Root Cause Analysis), and implement preventative actions.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering - safety, environmental science, or related disciplines.
- Relevant EHS managerial experience in large-scale pharmaceutical, API manufacturing, or chemical engineering fields.
