EHS SAFETY COORDINATOR

Roles & Responsibilities

. Conduct daily toolbox meetings before start of work day

. Daily site walk inspections to ensure safety compliance

. Assist with job safety analysis, job instruction training, safe work procedures and method statements

. Conduct safety audits

. Manage the permit to work system and ensure rules and regulations are in accordance with relevant procedures

. Investigate and report all incidents to Safety Officer / Safety Manager and recommend actions to prevent future recurrence

. Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors and relevant authorities on matters pertaining to safety

. Conduct safety training for workers

. Attending to other ad hoc matters assigned by the Safety Officer / Safety Manager

Qualifications / Requirements

. Minimum NITEC / Professional Certification in any field

. Preferably with some experience in Mechanical Engineering field

. Preferably with experience in Project Management

. Must have Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health

. Must be willing to work at site

. Own transport a huge plus
