JobDescription: EHS Associate

PositionSummary

The EHSAssociate will support the Environmental, Health and Safety function in thecoordination and execution of site EHS programs, compliance activities,training administration, data management, inspection follow-up, and continuousimprovement initiatives. This role is suitable for a junior professional orfresh graduate who will work under the guidance of senior EHS team memberswhile developing practical knowledge of EHS systems, regulatory expectations,and operational risk controls.

The role isintended to strengthen day-to-day EHS execution, improve follow-up discipline,enhance documentation readiness, and provide consistent support tomanufacturing and site stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. EHS Program Coordination and Administrative Support

  • Coordinate assigned EHS programs, routine activities, and improvement initiatives to ensure timely execution and closure.
  • Track EHS action items, follow up with stakeholders, and consolidate progress updates for management review.
  • Support safety campaigns, awareness activities, communication rollouts, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide general coordination support to ensure assigned EHS deliverables are completed on time.

2. EHS Data, Systems, and Documentation Management

  • Maintain accurate EHS records and data in systems such as Cority, Tableau, GETS, INCA, SharePoint, SDS database or equivalent platforms.
  • Support data entry, data migration, data verification, and periodic data quality checks.
  • Assist with document control activities, including SOP updates, record retention, version tracking, and evidence compilation.
  • Ensure assigned EHS records are complete, current, traceable, and readily available for audits, inspections, and management review.
  • Support the preparation of compliance documentation and routine EHS performance reports.

3. EHS Training and Communication Support

  • Coordinate EHS training activities, including scheduling, participant communications, attendance tracking, training records, and follow-up on overdue completion.
  • Support TRN coordination and training documentation updates.
  • Work with internal stakeholders, vendors, and learning teams to support training delivery and learning material updates.
  • Assist in converting or updating training materials, job aids, briefing slides, and awareness communication materials.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for selected EHS briefings, campaigns, and facilitation sessions.

4. Inspection, Audit, CAPA, and Compliance Follow-Up

  • Support EHS inspections scheduling, workplace walkthroughs, and evidence collection.
  • Consolidate inspection findings, track corrective and preventive actions, and follow up with responsible owners to ensure timely closure.
  • Support compliance readiness by ensuring required records, photos, documents, and closure evidence are properly organized.

5. Occupational Health and Site Support

  • Assist with occupational health program coordination, including My Ergocare and Workfit scheduling, appointment tracking, communication with employees, and documentation follow-up.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate employee health-related administrative requirements.
  • Provide coordination support for site EHS activities, health promotion activities, and employee engagement programs.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to simplify trackers, improve data accuracy, and enhance follow-up processes.

. Support data analysis using availabletools to identify weak signals, emerging trends, recurring issues, andopportunities for improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Engineering, Science, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related discipline.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1-2 years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety, environmental compliance, risk assessment, or occupational health principles will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Experience or familiarity with EHS systems, dashboards, databases, or learning management systems will be beneficial.

. IT savvy and willing to learn newsystems, platforms, and digital tools where required.

. Able to analyse data using providedtools and translate insights into clear, meaningful data storytelling tosupport decision-making and stakeholder communication.
