Role Overview:
- The candidate will perform or assist the roles as per listed in the regulation governing workplace safety and health officer & fire safety manager duties and support site in protecting the environment.
- These include but not limited to :-.
- Develop & implement EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Conduct risk assessment, training and audit
- Implement required corrective /preventive measures based on audit finding, root cause analysis and trending analysis
- Develop & implement tracking programs and record keeping systems and administer EHS compliance tracking program
- Work with process owners to evaluate new product introduction, equipment and chemicals to ensure risks are properly assess and control measures are in place prior to use on site
- Support site security system implementation and enforcement.
- Any assignments given by Global Aviation EHS/Security
Ideal Candidate
A hands-on person with good understanding of EHS principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices, along with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Science with minimum 1 year of relevant working experience or
- Possess Diploma in Engineering / Science from local Polytechnic with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Candidate who is currently pursuing WSQ Certificate / Specialist Diploma is preferred.
