We are looking for a passionate and skilled Educational Therapist to join our transdisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide specialised educational therapy and assessment to young children with developmental needs, working alongside fellow therapists, educators, and families to help each child build the skills they need to thrive in everyday life.

Key Responsibilities

. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each child's learning profile, cognitive strengths, and developmental gaps, and translate findings into targeted intervention plans.

. Design, implement, and review Individualised Educational Plans (IEPs) that address cognitive, language, literacy, social communication, and emotional-behavioural domains in alignment with the child's goals.

. Deliver individual and small-group educational therapy sessions in a centre-based setting, using evidence-based strategies tailored to developmentally appropriate practice.

. Apply holistic teaching methods and behavioural strategies to support children with a range of learning differences, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and specific learning difficulties.

. Partner with parents and caregivers to provide coaching, training, and ongoing guidance so that intervention strategies areconsistently reinforced at home setting.

. Maintain thorough clinical documentation, including progress notes, IEP reviews, assessment reports, and oyhrt reports as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Professional Membership

Candidates must hold one of the following membership statuses at the point of appointment:

a) Registry of Educational Therapists Asia (RETA)
b) Association of Educational Therapists (AET)

Education

. Degree or postgraduate qualification in Educational Therapy, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.

. Completion of relevant specialised training ineducational therapy (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Therapy or equivalent).

Experience

. Prior experience delivering educational therapy orspecialised intervention to young children (aged 2-7) with developmental needs is strongly preferred.

. Experience working within a transdisciplinary or multidisciplinary team setting in an early intervention, special education, or clinical context.

. Familiarity with designing and reviewing Individualised Educational Plans (IEPs) and conducting psycho-educational or developmental assessments.
