Job Summary

The Education Sales Consultant is responsible for driving student enrolment by engaging prospective learners, understanding their goals, and recommending suitable programmes. This role plays a key part in converting leads into students while delivering a consultative and student-centric sales experience aligned with the organisation's mission.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Management & Sales Conversion (Core Function)

  • Follow up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns, events, and enquiries
  • Conduct consultations (phone, virtual, or in-person) to understand learner needs
  • Recommend suitable programmes and provide course guidance
  • Achieve enrolment targets and conversion KPIs
  • Maintain accurate records of leads and sales activities in CRM (e.g., Salesforce)

2. Student Advisory & Relationship Building

  • Provide personalised advice on course selection and learning pathways
  • Address enquiries on programme details, fees, schedules, and outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with prospective and current students
  • Deliver a positive and professional consultation experience

3. Collaboration with Marketing Team

  • Provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness
  • Support marketing initiatives such as webinars, info sessions, and events
  • Participate in outreach activities and promotional campaigns

4. Coordination with Operations & Academic Teams

  • Work closely with Operations on class schedules, availability, and enrolment processing
  • Ensure accurate communication of course details to students
  • Liaise with Academic team when needed for programme-related clarifications

5. Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Track and report on sales performance and pipeline
  • Ensure proper documentation of enrolments and payments
  • Monitor conversion rates and identify improvement opportunities

6. Customer Experience & Follow-Up

  • Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects to nurture leads
  • Support students through the enrolment process
  • Handle basic feedback and escalate issues when necessary

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Monthly/quarterly enrolment targets
  • Lead-to-enrolment conversion rate
  • Response time to enquiries
  • Customer satisfaction and consultation quality
  • Accuracy of CRM data and reporting

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree holder
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, education consulting, or customer-facing roles
  • Experience in education industry
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
