The Education Manager will lead the development and delivery of academic programmes with a strong focus on robotics education and competition excellence. This role is responsible for driving teaching quality, building structured competition pathways, and enhancing student outcomes through curriculum innovation and teacher capability development.
1. Academic Excellence & Teaching Quality
Oversee the quality of teaching delivery across robotics and related academic programmes
Establish clear teaching standards, lesson structures, and student outcome benchmarks
Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching to ensure high-quality instruction
Monitor student progress and learning outcomes, and implement improvement strategies
2. Robotics Curriculum & Programme Development
Design, review, and enhance robotics curriculum (e.g. coding, engineering concepts, problem-solving)
Ensure curriculum is structured, progressive, and aligned with age groups and skill levels
Introduce innovative teaching methodologies (project-based learning, STEM integration)
Standardise lesson materials and ensure consistency across centres
3. Robotics Competition Strategy & Execution
Develop a structured competition roadmap (beginner to advanced levels)
Identify and prepare students for relevant robotics competitions (local & international)
Design training frameworks, bootcamps, and selection processes for competition teams
Mentor teachers and students on competition strategies, judging criteria, and performance improvement
Track competition results and continuously refine training programmes
4. Teacher Training & Capability Building
Train and upskill teachers in robotics knowledge, coaching techniques, and competition readiness
Develop onboarding and certification pathways for robotics instructors
Create teaching SOPs, technical guides, and best practices
Build a strong academic team capable of delivering both teaching and competition coaching
5. Student Development & Academic Outcomes
Drive student progression pathways (from beginner to competition-level proficiency)
Identify high-potential students and nurture them for advanced programmes and competitions
Enhance student engagement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Support portfolio development for students (especially those pursuing STEM pathways)
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years experience in teaching, academic management, or robotics/STEM education
Hands-on experience with robotics platforms (e.g. LEGO, Arduino, VEX, or similar)
Experience in robotics competitions (coach / participant / organiser) is highly preferred
Strong passion for education, student development, and STEM learning
Excellent communication, coaching, and curriculum design skills
