Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for refining content and ensuring consistency across diverse product types We are seeking a proficient Editor to join our editorial team in the finance industry. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping high-quality content that aligns with our brand voice and supports our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Editing: Edit and refine a wide range of materials, including daily and ad-hoc research reports, presentation decks, marketing collateral, and other types of products to ensure clarity, accuracy and alignment with house style guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold adherence to internal editorial standards, procedures and house rules to maintain consistency across all deliverables.
- Voice Consistency: Collaborate with multiple contributors to harmonise content into a unified and consistent voice that resonates with the target audience.
- Project Management: Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams (eg, research, marketing, design) to ensure content meets strategic goals and aligns with organisational objectives.
- Ad-hoc Assignments: Undertake additional duties or special projects as assigned by the Head of Department or Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Editor, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Exceptional ability to identify errors in grammar, punctuation and formatting while ensuring consistency in style and tone across product types.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in shift schedules to meet business needs or support global operations.
