Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Ecommerce Assistant Manager to support e-com operations and optimize our online sales channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing ecommerce operations, co-developing marketing strategies, improving user experience, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer behaviour and reports to the Ecommerce Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Ecommerce Strategy & Management
- To execute ecommerce strategies to increase online sales and customer engagement.
- Oversee the online stores, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
- Oversee SIS merchandising, including product listings, descriptions, and promotions with the team.
Digital Marketing & Onsite Marketing
- Implement and manage digital marketing campaigns, including Sponsored Discovery, Shopee Ads and GMV max.
- Optimize product SKUs for onsite ads to increase paid traffic and visibility.
- Analyse customer data and market trends to refine campaign promotion strategies.
- Work closely with enabler agencies to plan and implement online activities, promotions to drive traffic and sales.
- Manage partners e.g. ecommerce enabler, MCN with marketing team on affiliates and live streamers and act as the first layer of approval and support.
- New brand expansion launches. Liaise and co-ordinate with E-commerce Manager on new launch operations and promo planning
- Measure effectiveness and ROI of marketing activities
Customer Experience & Conversion Optimization
- Improve the online shopping experience to boost conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
- Propose and execute new ideas to enhance the customer's shopping experience and engagement.
- Implement A/B testing, UX enhancements, and personalized recommendations.
- Manage customer service processes and feedback loops to improve engagement.
Inventory & Order Management
- Vetting of stock levels and inventory planning to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Work closely with marketing and SCM team to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Monitor return rates and stocks expiry to maintain healthy stocks and minimize losses.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure products arrive on time for campaign or launches.
- Follow up with SCM team to consolidate stocks and assist in co-planning ECommerce promotion and ensure sufficient stocks for all e-com channels and livestreams.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Oversee key performance metrics (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
- Use analytics tools from seller center and enabler dashboard to measure success and optimize performance.
- Prepare reports and insights to guide decision-making and strategy adjustments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in areas of Information Technologies (E-Commerce), Business Administration in E-Commerce, or equivalent graduate-level degree.
- Minimum of three (03) years of experience in ecommerce management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce and marketplaces (Shopee, Tiktok and Lazada).
- Knowledge of A&P budgeting.
- Experience with SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Onsite Ads and GMVMax.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data tools like Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AMS, Livestreams and Ecommerce Operations
- Familiarity with enabler management and onsite ads.
- Understanding of global ecommerce trends and international expansion strategies.
