Job Summary
Employ intervention strategies to improve and enhance students communication, cognition, sensory-motor, and social skills through assessments, lesson planning, and collaboration with therapists, teachers, and families to achieve personalized development goals.
Responsibilities
- Employ intervention strategies to enhance students communication, cognition, sensory-motor, and social skills development
- Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate each student's needs and progress
- Collect and analyze student data and records to inform planning and preparation
- Design and prepare lesson plans tailored to students individual needs
- Customize teaching aids, craft materials, and worksheets to support learning objectives
- Conduct lessons and activities as directed by supervisors, ensuring engagement and learning outcomes
- Prepare and present Individualized Education Program (IEP) reports and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with therapists, teachers, families, and other professionals to support students learning and development
- Conduct sensory integration exercises to improve students sensory processing abilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during lessons and activities
- Disinfect, clean, and pack classrooms, resources, and gym facilities after each use
