Job Summary
Metta Preschool @ Punggol seeks an Early Intervention Teacher to deliver tailored lessons and collaborate with therapists, supporting children under 6 with special needs to reach their full potential in an inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver interactive lessons aligned with the early intervention curriculum to support developmental goals
- Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs and learning styles
- Track and document student progress to inform instructional adjustments and reporting
- Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and set measurable goals
- Organize and facilitate outings, enrichment activities, and classroom events to enhance learning experiences
- Mentor new staff and interns by providing guidance and conducting On-the-Job Training (OJT) sessions
- Ensure adherence to ISO and NCSS/MSF standards to maintain quality and compliance in service delivery
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the centre's operations and objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood or Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (SDESN) preferred
- Experience working in preschool or special needs educational settings is advantageous
- Demonstrate patience, passion, and a collaborative team approach
- Exhibit strong planning skills, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
