Early Childhood Music Teacher

Located in the heart of Upper Thomson, Classical Cats Music School offers early childhood music, violin, piano, and cello lessons tailored for children. Our teachers are degree-qualified musicians experienced in working with young learners. Beyond individual lessons, we foster a community where students can enjoy regular performance opportunities, helping them build confidence and a lifelong appreciation for music. We are dedicated to nurturing young talent and inspire them to enjoy and excel in music.

Key Responsibilities

• Lesson and curriculum planning for classes according to age group (between 2-4 year olds)
• Conduct the lessons individually as the main teacher (along with teaching assistant)
• Prepare props and necessary teaching materials for each lesson
• Attend training provided by the school

Qualifications/ Experience (Must-Have)

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience as an early childhood educator or music & movement educator
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident in singing simple children's songs and able to sing to pitch
• Must have genuine love for young children
• Exercise creativity in conducting interesting lessons for children

Qualifications/ Experience (Preferred)

• Background in music and theory
• Able to play simple tunes on the piano or ukelele
