Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute marketplace strategies to achieve defined business goals and drive measurable growth
  • Deliver a positive digital shopping experience by ensuring customised and accurate product content and information across platforms
  • Identify and implement industry and marketplace best practices to lead growth initiatives across multiple marketplaces
  • Develop and manage strategic initiatives with marketplaces to increase brand share and revenue
  • Monitor and optimize performance metrics including store visits, page views, add-to-cart rate, follower acquisition, conversions, average order value, transactions, and revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fulfilment partners by influencing and educating them on product knowledge and processes
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as product and marketing to ensure seamless execution of promotional and product campaigns
  • Analyze data, trends, and performance metrics to generate actionable insights and provide strategic recommendations to leadership for vertical growth
  • Serve as the primary liaison with fulfilment partners for new product launches, promotional campaigns, and inventory management
  • Manage escalation and resolution of customer enquiries to maintain positive customer engagement and experience

Required competencies and certifications

  • Deep knowledge of e-commerce across digital channels, marketplaces, traditional online retailers, and social commerce
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce trends and selling strategies in digital marketplaces
  • Experience working with resellers, distributors, or fulfilment partners
  • Proven analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in store analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in e-commerce and account management fields
