About The Role
This role is responsible to own end-to-end operational excellence across our online marketplace and D2C channels for Singapore. This role sits at the intersection of platform operations, systems integration, and process improvement — ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-complexity environments and can turn operational ambiguity into scalable, measurable outcomes.
You will be the operational backbone of our eCommerce function — responsible for campaign readiness and operational checks, cross-system data integrity, financial reconciliation, and continuous process improvement. You'll work cross-functionally with commercial, finance, IT, and product teams to keep the engine running while making it faster.
The Impact You'll Make
Platform & Campaign Operations
- Own end-to-end operational execution across multiple online marketplaces and branded eCommerce channels in the region.
- Ensure operational readiness for major sales campaigns, including promotional set-up validation, inventory alignment, and platform compliance — with a zero-tolerance approach to critical disruptions.
- Liaise with local 3PL partners to define, monitor, and enforce fulfilment standards aligned with marketplace SLA requirements, escalating performance gaps and driving corrective actions where needed.
Systems Integration & Data Flow Management
- Manage and monitor cross-platform data flows between marketplaces, middleware, ERP, and fulfilment systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity at scale.
- Investigate and resolve integration issues across APIs, ERP, and middleware layers — translating operational problems into structured technical requirements, bug reports, and service tickets.
Process Improvement
- Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and work with relevant technical and business teams to implement solutions that improve SLA compliance, cost visibility, and overall performance.
Financial Reconciliation & Controls
- Lead periodic financial reconciliations between marketplace settlements and ERP postings, investigating and resolving discrepancies across discounts, returns, and refunds.
- Implement and strengthen operational controls to reduce financial errors and minimise revenue leakage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary operational liaison between commercial, finance, IT, and global product teams.
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution — comfortable operating across both domains.
- Provide operational support and knowledge sharing to adjacent markets as needed.
The Skills And Knowledge You'll Bring:
- 4–6 years in eCommerce operations, marketplace management, or technical operations — ideally in consumer goods, retail, or D2C
- Hands-on experience with major SEA marketplaces (e.g. Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop) and/or branded eCommerce platforms
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP), middleware/integration platforms, and 3PL fulfilment operations
- Working-level proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, Power Query, etc.) for reporting and data validation; comfortable troubleshooting system errors across platforms and integration layers
- Solid understanding of marketplace settlement flows, financial reconciliation processes, and discount/returns accounting; keen eye for spotting mistakes and erroneous transactions
- Strong cross-functional communication; structured problem-solving; ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders
- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities with a sense of ownership and accountability.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience operating within a PE-backed, high-growth, or post-transformation environment where processes and systems are still maturing.
- Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g. Python) or workflow automation tools (e.g. Power Automate) to build automation solutions and bridge system gaps.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow) for managing integration issues and change requests.
