Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Reporting to TA E&I Planner: assist TA E&I Planner to prepare and plan all electrical and instrument (including automation and analysers) TA activities to be executed during TA.
  • Scope Development: Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to collect, define, challenge, and prioritize the complete scope of work for the turnaround.
  • SAP Activities: generate work notification, work order and update/review all the necessary operation data and fields in the SAP. Upload documents and close the SAP upon completion of the work.
  • Job pack matrix review and update: update TA job pack matrix which includes job description, drawing, work order, LOTO/blind list, flange list, bill of material, ITP & WPS, job closure form, method statement, Task risk analysis,
  • Permit -to-work and other TA activities.
  • Job Plan Creation: Develop detailed, step-by-step work packages (job packs) for each task, including required resources (manpower, materials, equipment, drawings), durations, safety procedures, and quality control requirements.
  • Resource and Cost Estimation: Estimate labor, materials, and contractor costs, and recommend resource requirements to management.
  • Scheduling: Work with the scheduler to integrate all activities into a comprehensive schedule that covers the shutdown, execution, and start-up phases.
  • Material and Tool Management: Identify and order long-lead and short-term materials and specialized equipment, and coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure their timely arrival and staging.
  • Documentation Review: Gather and interpret necessary technical documents, such as P&IDs, blueprints, isometric drawings, and equipment specifications.
  • Coordinator: Coordinate with field maintenance, operations, services provider/ contractors / suppliers (i.e. internal and external) to ensure readiness of work packages for safe and smooth execution.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in refinery and petrochemical.
  • Experienced in TA, maintenance work control, planning, costing.
  • Familiar in using SAP or other Planning software.
  • Good communication negotiation and business sense.
