We are seeking an experienced E&I Supervisor to support a major Plant Turnaround / Shutdown project. The successful candidate will supervise electrical and instrumentation activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Electrical & Instrumentation technicians and subcontractors during turnaround activities.
- Coordinate daily E&I work scopes and manpower deployment.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved procedures, drawings, and safety requirements.
- Oversee maintenance, installation, testing, calibration, loop checking, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate isolations, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work requirements.
- Monitor progress and report work status to site management.
- Ensure quality standards and project schedules are met.
- Participate in toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
- Liaise with operations, maintenance, construction, and client representatives.
Requirements
- Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of E&I experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, power, chemical, or industrial plants.
- Must have completed at least 2-3 Plant Turnaround / Shutdown projects in a supervisory role.
- Experience with electrical systems, instrumentation devices, control systems, field instruments, motors, switchgear, MCCs, transmitters, analyzers, and control valves.
- Strong understanding of PTW, LOTO, and industrial safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills in a fast-paced turnaround environment.
