Dry Bulk Shipping Operator - Large Global Integrated Player
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Dry Bulk Operator to take on end-to-end ownership of voyage operations across an allocated fleet of dry cargo vessels. This is a hands-on operational role with strong cross-functional exposure to our commercial and trading teams, and a clear pathway for those with an interest in people leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage all shipping operations for an allocated portfolio of dry cargo vessels, from fixture through to voyage completion
- Issue and follow up on voyage instructions, coordinating closely with shipowners, masters, charterers, and internal trading teams
- Handle all post-fixture activities, including laytime, demurrage, and voyage accounting
- Maintain and develop relationships with key external counterparties, including shipowners and suppliers
- Collaborate actively with other desks to ensure smooth operational execution
- Champion process improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of operational best practices
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience as a Voyage or Time Charter operator in dry bulk shipping, managing a minimum of 8–10 vessels concurrently
- Familiarity with Sedna
