DRIVER

Job Title: Class 3 Delivery Driver

Principal Activity: Manufacturing of confectionery and bakery products.

Job Description:

• Deliver confectionery and bakery products to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handle Delivery Orders (DOs), collect cash payments where required, and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Load and unload products, including trays weighing up to approximately 25 kg each.
• Assist customers with unloading and stacking products at delivery locations when required.
• Verify and tally delivered goods against delivery documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Comply with all food hygiene and food safety requirements during the handling, transportation, and delivery of food products.
• Perform cleaning of delivery trays before returning to the factory at the end of each shift.
• Work on a permanent night shift and ensure deliveries are completed according to schedule.
• Conduct basic daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is preferred.
• Ensure proper care and safe operation of the company vehicle. Company vehicles are for business use only and may not be driven home.
• Exercise responsible driving practices. The driver shall be personally responsible for any parking fines or penalties resulting from improper or illegal parking.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant delivery driving experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual loading and unloading of goods weighing up to approximately 25 kg per tray.
• Familiar with Singapore roads and delivery routes.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling practices.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Willing to work on a permanent night shift.
