ob Description - Lorry Driver

Responsibilities:

• Drive company lorry safely to deliver goods to assigned locations

• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo

• Plan delivery routes and follow delivery schedules

• Ensure goods are delivered accurately and on time

• Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, brakes, lights) before and after trips

• Keep the lorry clean and in good condition

• Report vehicle issues, accidents, or delivery problems promptly

• Comply with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations

• Complete delivery documents (delivery orders, acknowledgements)

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Singapore driving licence (Class 3, 4, or 5 - specify as needed)

• Proven experience as a lorry or delivery driver (preferred)

• Familiar with Singapore roads and traffic regulations

• Physically fit to handle loading and unloading

• Basic ability to read and understand delivery documents

• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious

• Good attitude and ability to work independently

Additional Requirements (optional):

• Able to work overtime or weekends when required

• No serious traffic violations

• Forklift licence (an advantage, if applicable)
